UID Asset Tracking

To track your assets and equipment, use this simple portable barcode reader to scan the UID label.  The label is decoded into the necessary fields--Cage, Part Number and Serial and this data is saved into a data file to be later transferred to your host system. Location and other pertinent data can also be saved.

UID Datamatrix Printing

All your assets and equipment can be easily tagged with a UID barcode label by printing as you go.  No need to bring the equipment to the barcode printer,  just walk up and print the label portably. Whether conducting an audit or just tagging, you can easily print a permanent UID label for your assets.

How It Works

This software contains two systems in one--portable UID data collection and portable UID printing! As you conduct an audit of your assets, you will enter the Model, Manufacturer and Serial number of the equipment. This can be done by scanning or hand entering via the keyboard on the portable barcode reader.

If you need to print out a UID label, you just click print and a UID datamatrix barcode is printed using the attached portable barcode printer.  This label is placed on the item so that the next time you conduct an audit, you simple scan the barcode label and automatically capture the data.
