The Ticket Checker allows you to scan the unique barcode printed on a ticket and collect that particular ticket number into the memory of the handheld device. If that same ticket number is ever scanned again, then the handheld barcode scanner emits a loud beep and gives a visual alert. This allows the ticket checker to stop the incoming illegal ticket holder. The CN3 Barcode Reader is used with the Ticket Checker Kit, allowing the use of lookup tables.
Overview
Check tickets at concerts, events, and symposiums using our Ticket Checker Kit. With this program you can scan the unique barcode printed on a ticket and collect that particular ticket number into the memory of the handheld device. If that ticket number is ever scanned again, then the handheld barcode scanner emits a loud beep and gives a visual indication on the screen that this is a duplicate scan. This alerts the ticket checker to stop the incoming illegal ticket holder.
With Ticket Checker you can download a lookup table onto the scanner, so when you scan a ticket it looks to see if that number exists. If it does, the scanner reports back a good scan. If the number is not in the lookup file, the scanner reports back 'Invalid Ticket'. If a barcode is scanned twice, then you get an immediate notice of 'Previously Scanned' on the scanner screen.
The CN3 Scanner is used with the Ticket Checker. The scanner is also able to save all the barcode records, and each scan is date/time stamped for later viewing. This feature allows you to analyze your event, look at traffic flow, and improve staffing for the future.
