Stationary Terminals

MSS carries a full line of stationary barcode terminals that are ideal for shop floor data collection and labor tracking. These types of terminals work well for manufacturing and works-in-process applications; they can also be used for time and attendance collection. Stationary terminals usually consist of an LCD Screen (limited to full function keyboard) with scanners attached. The scanners are usually badge or magstripe scanners. They can be locally connected via RS232, Ethernet TCP/IP, or RF

The 2480 & the 2486
The 2480 and the 2486 provide uninterrupted service and ease of use, even in the most demanding industrial environments. These models are available with a range of keypad, memory, storage and connectivity options. These terminals are most commonly used for critical shop floor data collection, such as process tracking, labor collection, and time and attendance applications. The 2486 is a wireless model.
