In addition, we offer barcode reader programs for the handheld devices that allow you to collect the data you need. MSS Software can also develop custom software specifically for your data collection needs.

Q:	What is Active Sync? This is a Microsoft program that can be used to communicate between Windows Mobile and Windows CE type barcode readers and a PC.
Q:	What kind of software do I need to print barcode labels? You can print barcode labels on any Windows-based printer using specialized software such as LabelWorks. In addition, sometimes your application will have the built-in capability to print barcode labels.
Q:	What software do I need to operate my barcode reader? If you have a batch barcode reader, you need an application program on the handheld. You also will need communications software to allow you to transfer data to the PC. If you are using a real-time RF barcode reader you need a Terminal Emulation (TE) software program that will allow you to communicate to your host program. Our barcode specialists will advise you on what you need for specific equipment.
